Does a sponsored placement change my Score?

No. The Score is calculated from the same eight documented factors for every program, and nobody can pay for a higher score or a better position in the ranked list. Sponsored placements are shown in their own labelled spot.

How are sponsored placements labelled?

Every paid placement carries the word Sponsored next to it, and links to it are marked rel="sponsored".
