Which cookies and local storage Affilobase uses, why, and how to refuse them.
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Affilobase also uses local storage, which works the same way for your privacy: it keeps data on your device. This policy covers both. Under the Belgian implementation of the ePrivacy Directive, everything except strictly necessary storage requires your consent before it is set.

Everything in the table above is set by us, on this domain. None of it is used for advertising, and none of it is shared with a third party.
Strictly necessary storage is set the moment you use the feature it belongs to — your theme choice, your watchlist. Analytics is only started after you accept it in the cookie banner. You can reopen the banner from the footer at any time and change your mind; refusing analytics does not degrade a single feature of the site.
Affilobase embeds no advertising pixels, no social widgets and no chat script from a third party. Two things do reach outside our domain: web fonts, loaded from Google Fonts, and flag images, loaded from a public image CDN. Both receive your IP address as part of the request; neither sets a cookie.
When you follow an affiliate link out of Affilobase, the destination sets its own cookies under its own policy. That is how the advertiser knows the visit came from us, and it is the mechanism this entire industry runs on. Read their policy if you want to know what they store.
Every browser can block or delete cookies and clear local storage — usually under Settings, then Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary storage is allowed but will log you out and forget your preferences on every visit. Blocking analytics costs you nothing.
